Memberships (Tickets) and Registration
When will I be able to buy a membership for JordanCon 2024?
You can buy your memberships now in the JordanCon online shop! Be sure to preorder your copy of the JordanCon anthology and your JordanCon 2024 T-shirt while you’re at it! (Remember that preordered T-shirts and anthologies must be picked up at the convention. We do not offer shipping on these items.)
Will volunteering get me a free ticket to attend JordanCon?
Volunteers are made up of members who purchase tickets.
Do I have to buy a new membership every year?
Unless you have previously purchased an eternal membership, yes, you do have to buy a new membership each year. JordanCon no longer sells eternal memberships.
What precautions are you taking to make sure attendees are safe at the event?
We will review the situation when we get closer to the event and post here when a decision has been made.
Can I bring a weapon for my costume?
All bladed weapons must be peace-bound during the convention. Weapons may be brandished briefly for photographers, but must be immediately sheathed afterwards. Projectile weapons must be non-functioning. This includes water guns, silly-string, and ping-pong pistols.
How do I book my hotel room?
The official room block is currently sold out. When we have more information, we will share it here and on social media.
Is there an overflow hotel?
Yes, there is! The overflow hotel is the Hyatt Place. You can make a reservation in two ways. Option one is to click this link! Option two is to call the hotel’s toll free Reservation Line, 1-800-233-1234. To receive the group rate, please identify yourself as a member of the JordanCon 2024 Group when making the reservation. All reservations must be received by the cut-off date of March 22, 2024. Rooms are available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
To get to the hotel from the airport on the MARTA, you will need to take the Red line going north. The trip takes approximately 40 minutes. You will get off the train at the Dunwoody Station. The hotel is 0.3 miles (0.48km) east from the station. You can walk east along Hammond Drive, and the hotel will be on your left. There is not a hotel shuttle that will take you from the airport or station to the hotel.
How can I eat at the hotel?
The cafe will be open for coffee starting at 6:30AM and will close at 3:00PM. The upstairs bar is open! Bar service will start at 4:00PM and go until 11:00PM, but they may stay open later if it’s busy. They will also have a small selection of food available. The downstairs bar will be open from 4:00PM until 1:00AM. The hotel restaurant will be open from 6:30AM until 11:00AM for breakfast and 5:00PM until 10:00PM for dinner. Please don’t forget the ConSuite will be available for meals, as well!
Is there a hotel shuttle?
There is a hotel shuttle, however, the hours are limited, and it will be outbound only. If you would like more information, please visit the concierge desk near the front of the hotel.
Can I park at the hotel if I’m not staying there?
Yes! Visit the front desk or concierge and let them know you’re not staying at the hotel, but are parked there. They should give you a voucher for discounted parking.
I have a podcast and would like to record an episode at JordanCon. Is there a designated space for that?
We had a designated space in 2023 and, as soon as we have one, we will share that location for 2024.
