JordanCon 2022 FAQ Sections
I need all of the details immediately. I’m excited, and I must know everything right now. Where can I find more information?
We are still working on plans and preparations for the event. We will continue to release information here and on our social media channels as it becomes available.
MEMBERSHIPS (TICKETS) & REGISTRATION
I didn’t get a membership. When will I be able to buy one?
Memberships are now completely sold out. Eternal memberships will not be returning.
There will be no ticket sales at the door this year. No single day tickets will be available.
No physical ticket will be sent to you in advance. Your purchase will be marked as “Pending” in your JordanCon account until the event is completed.
Is my membership purchased for 2021 rolled over to 2022?
We have finished up processing rollover information from 2019/2020. If you believe you RSVPed to roll your membership over, check your emails for an email from email@example.com titled “Your rollover membership from 2019/2020 to 2022.” If you do not have an email in any of your email folders (including junk/spam), please email Finance at the above email address so they can check on it for you. Include your order number and/or email address that you used to purchase your membership(s).
If I have never attended, but want to come this year, is volunteering my only way in? Or will volunteers be selected from the existing people with paid memberships?
Volunteers will be made up of members who purchase 2022 memberships.
Do I have to buy a new membership every year?
Unless you have purchased an eternal membership, yes, you do have to buy a new membership each year.
I bought a membership, but now I can’t attend. How do I transfer my membership to someone else?
The deadline to transfer badges has passed. No more badge transfers will be allowed for 2022.
What precautions are you taking to make sure attendees are safe at the event?
To mitigate the risks of COVID-19 infection, all attendees will be required to show proof of up-to-date vaccination at badge pickup. Updated vaccination includes one booster shot for eligible individuals. Final vaccination dose must be administered prior to April 8, 2022.
When arriving to pick up your badge, please present your ID and either the actual vaccination card or a photo of the front and back of the card. The name on the card must match the name on your photo ID. Attestation of identity from a parent or legal guardian is acceptable for minors without ID. Proof of vaccination must be provided for each attendee, regardless of age.
If vaccination is not an option for you, you may present negative results from a COVID-19 PCR test taken no earlier than April 20th. Antigen/rapid test results are only acceptable if documented by a healthcare provider and clearly confirm identification and date of test (no earlier than April 20th).
Children ages 2+ must have proof of vaccination to attend. If this is not available, they will also need to present negative results per the above guideline.
Masks will be required in all JordanCon spaces for everyone ages 2+.
All track rooms and ballrooms will use the capacity limits based on numbers provided by the hotel.
JordanCon will not sanction any room parties at the 2022 event. Any gathering within hotel rooms or spaces will be monitored by the hotel to ensure compliance with hotel policies.
If you experience any COVID/Flu-like symptoms at any time please attempt to isolate immediately and do not enter any convention spaces.
JordanCon is offering onsite Covid testing. If you have insurance, please present your insurance information to cover the cost of the test. Two tests will be given: a rapid test via nasal swab and an antigen test via saliva. Anyone passing the rapid test will be given a wristband by the testing agency that they can present at registration in lieu of vaccination records. The results of the antigen test will be sent to you via email. JordanCon will not be informed of your results unless you choose to disclose them to us. Additional testing is available at a cost of $25 per person. Exact hours for testing will be posted later, but you can expect it to be available Thursday afternoon, all day Friday and Saturday morning. Testing is not required for those showing proof of updated vaccination.
Presentation of any falsified documents will result in a permanent ban from JordanCon and will be reported to local authorities per CDC guidelines.
We will continue to update this policy as needed. If you require any special accommodations, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
If I do not already have a reservation, how do I book my hotel room?
Why does the reservation site default the check in date to Tuesday, April 19, 2022 and the check out date to Wednesday, April 27, 2022?
Is there an overflow hotel available?
Yes, there is! Unfortunately, the deadline for reserving the overflow hotel has passed.
