Tam Joins the Two Rivers

This month’s Wheel of Time Wednesday was an official announcement (or for some, a confirmation) that Michael McElhatton has joined the cast of the Wheel of Time TV show! If you find yourself thinking he looks familiar, you may recognize him as Roose Bolton from Game of Thrones (or any of his other projects on his impressively long resume).

He’s definitely got the acting experience needed, and he even played a dad on Game of Thrones! But let’s all hope Rand turns out better than Ramsey…

We knew it was coming, but it’s a completely different thing to see it in action! For today’s #WOTWednesday, The Wheel of Time on Prime Twitter page shared snippets of the cast reading the script for the first episode. It’s fantastic, and we’re so excited to get our first peek at the cast reading as their characters. If you haven’t heard by now, there was some huge news released today for #WoTWednesday! The Wheel of Time on Prime Twitter account dropped some major casting news, and we’re thrilled to share it! If these first few choices are any indication, there’s a phenomenal show coming our way.

Joining Rosamund Pike, previously announced to be playing Moiraine, we have:

Josha Stradowski as Rand
Marcus Rutherford as Perrin
Barney Harris as Mat
Zoë Robins as Nynaeve
Madeleine Madden as Egwene

As you can imagine, the Wheel of Time community is buzzing after such huge announcements, so be sure to join us on our Facebook and Twitter pages to discuss the big news!

The stories for the inaugural JordanCon Anthology have been chosen and our incredible Artist Guest of Honor Dan dos Santos has created some beautiful cover art for the book. Best of all, the collection is now available for purchase! While there will be a few copies available for purchase at JordanCon 2019, the only way to ensure you get a copy is to pre-order it. Also, please keep in mind that this awesome collection of short stories will not be shipped to you. You must pick up your copy at the convention. It’s just one more reason to make sure you attend JordanCon 2019!
