Hey, JordanCon writer! If you or someone you know is interested in submitting a story to the JordanCon 2026 Anthology, Beyond the Veil, we wanted to take a moment and talk about the changes we’ve made regarding submissions this year. Instead of just short stories and novellas, we’ve expanded what we’re going to accept by way of story submissions!
We’ll be accepting the following in the genres of sci-fi, fantasy, and/or horror:
poetry – various word counts
flash fiction – 1,000-2,000 words
short story – 2,001-7,000 words
novelette – 7,001-15,000 words
novella – 15,001-22,000 words
Please note that poetry or flash fiction would have a smaller honorarium than shorts or a novelette or novella. And remember that submissions close on September 15th, so you have a smidge under 3 months to come up with something to wow us!
