Dealer Hall Rules

This Agreement is JordanCon’s statement of Dealer policy. Please read carefully and keep a copy for your records.

  • JordanCon agrees to provide the following for each Dealer Table purchased: one 6’ table, 2 chairs, a 7’x7’ space.
  • Dealer agrees to provide payment in full with this Dealer Agreement. One convention Dealer Badge is included per table. One additional Dealer Badge per table may be purchased for $30. Any additional Dealer Badges beyond 2 per table can be purchased at the prevailing registration rate. Any additional Dealer Badges beyond 2 per table can be purchased at the prevailing registration rate, provided that the convention has not reached its capacity limit and there are badges available for purchase.
  • JordanCon agrees to provide table space as specified above to the Dealers at JordanCon at the current convention hotel, barring any unforeseen acts of the universe beyond JordanCon’s immediate control which may occur prior to or during the convention dates which prevents space being available.
  • Dealer agrees that JordanCon, its directors, and its volunteers shall not be held responsible for items lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed during the convention. The Dealers Hall will be secured when closed and only accessible by the Dealers Hall Director/Manager, Art Show Director/Manager, Charity Hall Director/Manager, and the JordanCon Convention Chairs.
  • Dealer table space assignments are the sole responsibility of the Dealers Hall Director or his designee. In the event that the Dealers Hall Director and/or Manager are also dealers with a booth in the Dealers Hall, table space assignments will be reviewed and approved by the Officers of Sales. Dealer agrees to keep the assigned area clean and is responsible for any damage caused by the Dealer. Tables, chairs, displays, and merchandise are all to remain within the Dealer’s specified assigned area as placed by JordanCon. Moving of table(s) within your assigned area is permitted, though JordanCon reserves the right to change the arrangement based upon safety or accessibility concerns. JordanCon will remove the tables from your area upon Dealer’s request.
  • The rights granted to the Dealer may not be sold, sublet, given, or otherwise transferred to any third party.
  • Dealer registration fees and badges are non-refundable. If a 30 day notice is given, JordanCon will offer to roll the Dealer’s registration and badges to the next convention. This is a one-time offer and not eligible to be rolled over again.
  • Dealer acknowledges that JordanCon grants no terms of exclusivity or other licensing agreement to the Dealer. On occasion, exclusivity could be granted to the “Guest of Honor” if needed per contract.
  • Dealer agrees to do business only during business hours and not to engage in any disruptive activities including, but not limited to: unloading and/or movement of merchandise into or through the Dealer Hall area during business hours; packing, unpacking, or setting up displays or products outside areas leased to the Dealer; excessive noise; or any activity deemed by JordanCon to be disruptive to other Dealers or not in the best interest of JordanCon or any of its participants (i.e. Incense burning including hot plate, excessively loud music, etc.).
    • Dealer agrees to be clear of the aisles when the doors open to the public at 2:30 pm on Friday afternoon. Booths do not have to be fully set up and ready at opening, but all aisles must be free of obstruction.
    • Dealer agrees to be open during the entirety of the the convention’s regular business hours: Friday 2:30 to 7:00, Saturday 10:00 to 7:00, and Sunday 10:00 to 2:30.
    • Dealers agrees to not break down until after the official close of the Hall at 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoon.
    • JordanCon will delineate each space with tape. Dealer agrees to keep all product, tables, and displays within this space (7’x7′ for single booths, 7’x14′ for double booths).
  • JordanCon reserves the right to prohibit the sale or display of any merchandise or service that is determined to be inappropriate, problematic, or a violation of a known copyright.
  • JordanCon does not obtain ASCAP/BMI licensing that will allow the use of live or recorded music at your table. Dealers interested in playing music must notify us in writing, and obtain the proper licensing from BMI at (888) 689- 5264 and ASCAP at (800) 505-4052. If a Dealer is playing copyrighted music and cannot produce the proper documents, JordanCon has no choice but to request that the music be turned off. If you do not comply you will be removed from the room.
  • Dealer warrants that no merchandise offered for sale is in violation of copyright or other intellectual property rights of third parties. Dealer agrees to indemnify JordanCon and its associated personnel against all claims, costs, and expenses incurred arising out of any claimed infringement of a third party’s intellectual property. Please note that no Wheel of Time merchandise is permitted without the written and express permission of Sony Pictures.
  • Dealer agrees that no weapon or adult material shall be purchased by or handled by any person below the applicable legal age for that item and that no firearms of any kind may be displayed or offered for sale on JordanCon premises. Dealer further agrees that Adult materials must not be openly displayed, and a private viewing area must be provided by the Dealer for any transactions involving adult materials.
  • Dealer agrees that any violation or breach of this agreement or any applicable laws may result in the cancellation of this agreement and forfeiture of the Dealer’s leased space without refund.
  • All Dealers are responsible to remit to the State of Georgia any and all sales tax related to the sale of merchandise or services. We will have forms available. They can also be found here, https://dor.georgia.gov/sites/dor.georgia.gov/files/Miscellaneous_Events_FS-32_%282%29.pdf.
  • All disputes between Dealers and/or the Convention will be at the sole authority and discretion of the Dealers Hall Director. In the event that the Dealers Hall Director is involved in the dispute or could be construed as having a conflict of interest in the dispute, the Officer of Sales shall be the final arbiter.
  • The forgoing represents the full agreement between JordanCon and the Dealer.
