Charity Auction to aid Eugie Foster

Once again JordanCon has decided to use our Charity Auction proceeds to aid one of our guests. JordanCon will be donating the entire proceeds of our annual charity auction on Saturday night to a great cause in the Genre. Eugie Foster, author of “Returning My Sisters Face And Other Far Eastern Tales Of Whimsy and Malice” and Nebula winner, has supported us since the beginning of JordanCon. Recently Eugie has been going through a rough patch and has been battling Large B-Cell Lymphoma. The JordanCon Board of Directors felt this is the least we could do to show our support and appreciation.

Writers' Workshop "Pre-reg"

Are you a writer looking for constructive feedback on something you've written? Are you planning on attending the Writer's Workshop panel on Friday night @ JordanCon? We're doing this a bit differently this year to ensure everyone gets the most out of their experience (and I'm sure everyone who attended this last year will tell you it was fantastic!). As such, I'd like to give our authors the opportunity to read your submissions prior to the convention to maximize their feedback for you!

Doubletree Sold Out!

We sold out the hotel again!

We have an overflow hotel! We've secured a discounted rate of $53.10, plus tax, a night at the LaQuinta Inn a quarter mile from the Doubletree. It should be walkable for some of you, despite the very steep hill. The LaQuinta cannot do airport transportation, but there is a MARTA bus stop nearby. You can book at the LaQuinta by calling (770)552-0200 and asking for the JordanCon block. If you already have a reservation at the LaQuinta, you can call to be added to the JordanCon block. Unfortunately, they do not have the ability to make a reservation page for us.
