JordanCon welcomes three local authors to the convention!

Jana Oliver, Eugie Foster, and Emilie Bush will be joining the festivities of JordanCon V April 19th-21st, 2013.

Jana Oliver is the writer of The Demon Trapper Series, a Young Adult Urban Fantasy that takes place in Atlanta and that debuted in the states in 2011. Along with that, Jana has also written the Time Rovers series, books that have been nominated for an impressive fifteen awards, having taken twelve of those awards with the series.

Eugie Foster won the Nebula Award in 2009 for the Best Novelette of the year, and in the same year was named Writer of the Year by Bards and Sages. She is the writer of the Short Story collection, Returning My Sister’s Face and Other Far Eastern Tales of Whimsy and Malice, which has been used as a text book at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of California-Davis. When not writing, Eugie edits legislation for the Georgia General Assembly.

Emilie Bush is the former host of Georgia Public Radio’s “Georgia Gazette”. After, she traded in writing the news for writing Steampunk novels, the first of which is Chendra and the Airship Brofman. The follow up to Chendra, The Gospel According to Verdu, came out and was an ABNA Semi-Finalist.
