Charity Auction to aid Eugie Foster

Once again JordanCon has decided to use our Charity Auction proceeds to aid one of our guests. JordanCon will be donating the entire proceeds of our annual charity auction on Saturday night to a great cause in the Genre. Eugie Foster, author of “Returning My Sisters Face And Other Far Eastern Tales Of Whimsy and Malice” and Nebula winner, has supported us since the beginning of JordanCon. Recently Eugie has been going through a rough patch and has been battling Large B-Cell Lymphoma. The JordanCon Board of Directors felt this is the least we could do to show our support and appreciation.

In the past JordanCon has donated the proceeds to what we consider a great cause. Last year the 2013 proceeds for the charity auction were donated to Ben Wolverton, the son of Science Fiction and Fantasy Author and Writers of the Future Coordinating Judge David Wolverton/Farland. Due to the charitable spirits of the JordanCon attendance we were able to raise $4,318 in relief for the Wolverton family, we hope to be able to similarly help support the Foster Family this year and look forward to the Charity Auction.

Our Friday night Seanchan Hold'em Poker game and the Art Show will continue to support the Mayo Clinic.
